CBA Select Club Basketball
CBA Select Club Basketball is an AAU-affiliated club for boys and girls to compete in the spring season.
Welcome to the CBA Select Club Basketball Program
Through our network and partnerships, we’re excited to bring you a top-level program for Spring 2026.
Mission:
Our mission is to provide travel basketball for players looking to:
- Improve and compete
- Travel to gain experience vs high-level competition
- Go on to successful basketball careers through middle school, high school, college, and beyond.
- Bring high-level leadership, facilities, and professionalism to our region.
Standards & Expectations:
- Players can expect a high level of training in a top-class facility.
- Families can expect to receive timely communications regarding schedules, games, and club philosophy.
- Following tryouts, players will be grouped by age and/or skill level to best help them develop and be challenged.
- Our focus is on the training and improvement of every player in the program.
- While playing time is not guaranteed, players can expect to receive enough time on the court to improve.
- Flexibility within the rosters and a centralized approach to player movement will serve two purposes:
- Players could be given additional chances to play.
- Teams won’t miss out on events based on numbers. We’ll have the chance to combine.
Framework:
- The main season runs from March through May.
- Grades 4th-11th.
- Boys & Girls teams.
- Practice twice per week at the Nittany Valley Sports Centre. 24 Practices. 90 mins in length each.
Practice Schedule:
- Starts MARCH 17th, every Tuesday and Thursday
- Girls teams: 5:00-6:30
- Boys teams: 6:30 – 8:00
Tournament Schedule (All teams):
- NVSC Spring Tip-Off (March 28th & 29th)*
- Your Future Basketball @ The Centre. (April 26th & 27th)*
- NVSC Roundball Classic. (May 30th & 31st)*
*Included in team fees.
^Regional tournament option. Fee would be $90-$110, based on the number of players who can go.
**Based on the ability and commitment level of each group, the coaching staff may offer additional tournament opportunities.

- All coaches are licensed, experienced, and excel in the development of every player.
Partnerships & Network Opportunities:
Through our extensive experience and network, our players will have access to additional opportunities within the program. They include:
- Video film analysis
- Summer training and tournament opportunities
- Training through the Parisi Speed School
- *These additional developmental experiences will be added as the teams form and work together. They will involve an additional tuition fee, and our Director will reach out as the season begins.
Tuition Fees:
- $725
- Fees include: Gym time, coaching, coaching expenses, 3 tournament fees, uniform fees, insurance, and registration.
Payment plans are available:
$250 due at registration.

Where are practices held for the CBA Select Club Basketball Team? Practices are held at the Nittany Valley Sports Centre, a state-of-the-art facility located at 177 Champion Dr. State College, 16803. Our facility offers top-notch basketball courts and amenities to enhance player development.
How many tournaments will each team participate in during the spring season? Each CBA Select Club Basketball Team will participate in a total of four to six tournaments throughout the spring season. These tournaments provide valuable competitive opportunities for our players to showcase their skills.
How are the tournament schedules determined? The tournament schedules are determined by the CBA Administration and coaches. Our coaching staff works diligently to ensure that our teams are registered for competitive and well-organized tournaments that align with the goals of player development and growth.
Are the tournament expenses included in the program fees? Tournament fees are included in the program fees. Additional expenses such as travel and accommodations are not included in the program fees. However, our team administration will provide detailed information about tournament logistics, costs, and travel arrangements well in advance to help parents and players plan accordingly.
Are players required to attend all tournaments? We encourage players to attend all scheduled tournaments to maximize their growth and contribute to the team’s success. However, we understand that unavoidable conflicts may arise. In such cases, we request that players communicate their availability as early as possible so that the coaching staff can make necessary arrangements.
Are there additional costs associated with tournaments? Yes, there are additional costs such as travel, accommodations, meals, and any other related expenses for tournaments. Our team administration will provide comprehensive information about these costs, allowing families to plan accordingly.
How can I stay updated on team news, schedules, and announcements? CBA Select Club Basketball will use Team Snap to keep players and parents informed. Make sure to check your email regularly and stay connected with the coaching staff for the latest information.
