Futures Soccer Training
Futures is offered through the Penn United Soccer Academy. It is open to boys and girls ages 7 to 14; however, ages per season may vary.
It is coached by local soccer training with licensed staff.
Training Focus:
— Technical Training: dribbling, turning, passing, shooting, control, skill builders.
— Tactical: 1v1s (defending and attacking), spacing, teammate support.
— Psychological: Working with a team, highs and lows, dealing with setbacks, motivation to improve.
— Physical (Through CSP): speed, quickness, strength, balance, top speed, acceleration.

Danny Orton. English FA Prelim Badge and US Club Soccer Director of Coaching Diploma
— Danny will be joined by coaches from around the region including these licenses:
NSCAA Premier, NSCAA Advanced National, USSF D.
— Plus, coaches who have been former college players.

- Players looking to improve their game at any level. Lots of our work is geared toward individual technical improvement.

- Players should be ready to train, listen to the instructors and implement new ideas.
- Why is this training important?
- There are lots of ways to play and enjoy soccer. This program introduces players to a ‘training environment’ where they get to work on their skills in a fast-paced, fun, and engaging way. It’s a great addition to other soccer programs/leagues.
- Why should my player join this program?
- Technical repetition is critical at these age groups as the brain is ready to help the body learn at a rapid rate. Being comfortable with the ball is a huge aspect of a developing soccer player and this is the biggest window to learn.
